FAQ
Here are frequently asked questions from our patients.
1
What is direct primary care?
Direct primary care or DPC is where members pay a monthly fee in exchange for direct care with their physician. In return, patients have longer appointments and access to labs, procedures, and medications at a cheaper price.
2
Can I use my insurance?
Yes, you can use your insurance for your labs, images, and medications.
3
I don't want to become a member, but I have an acute concern, and I cannot get in to see my physician for another 2 weeks. Can you help me?
Yes, at My Healthy Family DPC we offer acute visits and procedures for non-members. Please click here for pricing for the acute visits and here for procedures. Please keep in mind that we do not manage chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, etc. for non-members, and we will prefer that you reach out to your regular provider.

I have Medicare/Medicaid. I like the idea of DPC, and I am willing to pay out of pocket for your services. Can I become a member?
No, unfortunately, at this time, we cannot accept patients with Medicare/Medicaid. We legally cannot bill these patients for our services. We hope to be able to take care of Medicare/Medicaid patients in the near future.
